I am a self-described “Hopeless Romantic”. My favorite movie is: “An Affair to Remember” [Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr - 1957]. Yes, that's a recommendation. I believe that Love finds a way. It is this passion that I bring to the Engagement and Wedding sessions. THE VISUAL ARTIST STUDIOS primary purpose is to: create timeless images – capture unforgettable memories.
When we meet, it's a sharing moment. I want to learn about you: as people and as a couple. What's your Love Story? How did you meet? Who pursued who? Who is the funny one? I absolutely want to hear about “THE DRESS” and “THE SUIT”. I'd like to spend a little time going over your date(s), venue and expectations. This is also an opportunity to discuss what the end piece would look like: prints, legacy albums and photographic/artistic concepts (specialty prints: metal or canvas), is it a themed or traditional wedding and/or engagement? We can cover a great deal in a short time. Consultations are always free: we want to make sure, at the very least, that we are a resource for you as you plan your life-event.
Once you choose THE VISUAL ARTIST STUDIOS to capture your life-moments and memories, then we will dive a little deeper into the details. This is a light planning session (if you're inclined, we may need wine or coffee). We want to finalize expectations and plan our strategy (venues, time lines, shot list, etc). I will guide you on the best time of day and the technical aspects of achieving the highest quality photographs that we can produce within the scope of the Vision.
